REFRAME: New EU Project for SIGMA

“CirculaR Economy strategy FRAMEwork for sustainable SMEs-REFRAME” is the new EU funded Project that our company participates in, providing risk management & consulting services.

REFRAME is implemented under Erasmus+ KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices / KA202 – Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training. The project targets not only construction, crafts and manufacturing SMEs’ but also the owners, managers, current personnel and (future) employees of the SMEs (unskilled, adept, skilled), VET centres, trainers, consultants as well as filed experts that support companies with CE processes.

Program objectives include:

  • The creation of a Circular Economy (CE) Transition Framework specifically for small and medium businesses to help them become friendlier to the environment
  • The creation of a step-by-step guideline for targeted SMEs and micro-enterprises for implementing the CE Transition Framework.
  • The provision to targeted SMEs, micro-enterprises’ employees and future employees of practical knowledge on how to implement CE transition in their business.

The REFRAME partnership is composed by 6 partners from 5 EU countries: The NATIONAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS and SIGMA BUSINESS NETWORK from Greece, PCX COMPUTERS & INFORMATION SYSTEMS LTD from Cyprus, the INSTITUTO DE SOLDADURA E QUALIDADE from Portugal, the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY VRATSA SDRUZHENIE from Bulgaria and CSONGRAD COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY from Hungary.
