The first for 2019 meeting for the BCI Greece & Cyrpus Forum took place in Piraeus on the 9th of January 2019.

Hosting was sponsored by Lloyd’s Register and Mr. Panagiotis Kamarados South East Europe Technical Manager or Lloyds opened session and welcomed participants in the room as well as all those that attended remotely through internet connection from Cyprus.

Dr Stamatis Tournis, BCI Greece & Cyprus Forum Leader coordinated the conference and provided news on the BCI World Conference & Exhibition that took place in London on 6-7/11/18.

Participants had the pleasure to attend a presentation on Emergency Notification Systems presented by Everbridge’s Senior Account Executive Mr John Skandalis and an update on the key findings from the BCI “Cyber Resilience Report 2018” as presented by Mr Vasilis Dimos of SIMGA.

Finally, members had the opportunity to discuss various organizational issues and the upcoming BCI Greek forum elections.
