Our company officially launched the groundbreaking CYBER project, with a kick-off meeting held on 12th of February at our offices in Athens, as the Project Lead Partner. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the project team/members came together to formalise the launch of a training initiative that is set to have a lasting impact, especially on the target audience of teachers and secondary school students.
The CYBER project, an ambitious project under the Erasmus+ Youth category, aims to bring a new dimension to the educational environment by equipping teachers and students with basic skills and knowledge to navigate the increasingly complex world of Cyberspace. The project seeks to empower teachers with the tools necessary to educate students on topics related to cyber psychology, cyber threats and cyber resilience.
One of the highlights of the CYBER project is that the participating schools as collaborating partners from the partner countries will form a pioneering network of certified secondary schools with the certification provided by the CYBER project according to ISO 27001, 27002, 27701, 22301 and 31000 standards. This initiative comes at a critical time when the importance of digital literacy and cyber security is more pronounced than ever.
At the kick-off meeting, 7 partners from 5 European countries participated. The meeting started with a welcome from the Project Coordinator, Εlladios Christodoulou, who expressed his enthusiasm for the project’s potential to shape the future of education. He presented the vision of the project, highlighting its holistic approach to address the challenges posed by the digital era.
The meeting included insightful presentations by the Project Activities Leaders, who described the key elements of the CYBER project. Participants received a comprehensive overview of the programme of planned work and the resources that will be made available to secondary schools.
The journey has just begun and with the support of all stakeholders, CYBER is poised to leave an indelible mark on the educational landscape, preparing the next generation for a safe and secure digital future.
