Beyond Borders: How CONTINUITY Transnational Coach Training Course in Valencia Changed the Game

The CONTINUITY transnational coach training course in Valencia changed the game by equipping CONTINUITY coaching partners with the necessary skills to pass on the knowledge gained from the project.

 

The Overview of the Transnational Coach Training Course

The CONTINUITY Transnational Coaches Training Course started on Monday, 6 February 2023 at UPV (Universitat Politècnica de València), Spain’s leading technological university, with an overview of the purpose of the meeting. The aims and objectives of the project were highlighted, with a focus on equipping coaches with pedagogical learning skills that they can apply in the future local project workshops (subsequent project activities). The coaches participating in the Transnational Coaches Training Project attended learning workshops divided into three parts, I, II and III.

The presentation of the CONTINUITY platform was also a key feature of the first day’s work. The purpose of the presentation was to discuss how coaches can improve the CONTINUITY platform, which is an online platform designed as an educational resource that coaches will use to educate stakeholders on business continuity.

 

Modules 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Workshops

The second and the third day of the CONTINUITY Transnational Coaches Training Course focused on Modules 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 developed by all partners. An overview of these modules was given, and the workshops also covered the different coaching models that coaches can use when working with clients from different cultures. The workshops were interactive, with coaches sharing their experiences and learning from each other.

 

Transnational Meeting

The CONTINUITY Transnational Coaches Training Course culminated with a transnational meeting on Thursday, 9 February 2023. The purpose of the meeting was to review the purpose, goals and objectives of the project. The background and overview of the project was also discussed, with a focus on the project’s goals and objectives.

The dissemination activities report was also presented at the meeting. The report highlighted the various dissemination activities carried out during the project.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the coaches to discuss the R1 and R2 corrections. The coaches were encouraged to share their feedback on the project and suggest ways to improve it. The upcoming activities was also discussed, with a focus on the upcoming local workshops to be held in all partner countries to disseminate and train stakeholders on the project’s training outcomes.

 

Conclusion

The CONTINUITY transnational coach training programme has changed the game, equipping coaches with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities and key points of coaching candidates in Business Continuity. The course’s emphasis on pedagogical learning skills and in-depth knowledge of the project deliverables equipped the coaches with all the necessary training tools for the subsequent activities/local trainings. The CONTINUITY platform was jointly optimized and now provides a complete package of training material for a successful training in the Business Continuity industry.
